As we embark on the Courageous journey, adults have various avenues that involve them individually, in groups, and on Sundays. But this season in our church’s history involves absolutely everyone—all the kids are also learning about these things at their level on Sundays. Our desire is that this would be a journey that parents can also walk through with their kids!

Joy Kids Elementary
Our 1st - 5th grade kids will be each given a passport to use as their journey guide. Kids are encouraged to bring their passports each week for stamps that reinforce what it means to be Courageous for Jesus. All kids will also be given a barrel to collect their own money to contribute towards Courageous. Have your kids bring their barrels in throughout Courageous, as they fill up!

Joy Kids Preschool & Kindergarten
Our preschool and kindergarten class will all be given sticker books to use as their journey guide. Kids are encouraged to bring their sticker books each week and will be given new stickers to add to their book that reinforce what it means to be Courageous for Jesus. All this kids in this age group will also be given a barrel to collect their own money to contribute towards Courageous. Have your kids bring their barrels in throughout Courageous as they fill up!

Get the Family Involved
All of this is an opportunity to help teach our children that they too can be a part of this Courageous journey! We encourage you to have discussions at home, helping them seek the Lord to ask him what He wants to do through them. Together as a class, we will be submitting names of those in our lives who are far from God. Help your kids think of those in their lives who need to know Jesus.
